The Creation of the World
The Bethesda Arts Centre textile group goes from strength to strength! The Creation of the World, was commissioned by South African Breweries, and it is now hanging in their Sandton office in Johannesburg.
It is a huge, seven metre long work of art! It tells seven stories from San mythology. The detail, above, is from the story of the girl who made stars by throwing woodash into the sky, so people could see by night.
